Philly Steak Cheese Fries

 

Ingredients:

 

1 lb frozen French fries (or homemade if you prefer)

 

1 tbsp oil

 

1/2 lb thinly sliced steak (like ribeye or sirloin)

 

1 small onion, sliced

 

1 small green bell pepper, sliced

 

1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

 

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions:

 

Preheat oven and bake fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.

 

Cook the steak in a hot skillet with oil over medium-high heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper.

 

Add sliced onions and green peppers to the skillet and sauté until soft and caramelized.

 

Layer cooked fries on a baking sheet, then top with steak, onions, and peppers.

 

Sprinkle cheese over everything and place back in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

 

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy as-is!
