Hamburger Green Bean Casserole
Layers of seasoned beef, tender green beans, creamy cheese sauce, and golden fried onions—this gooey, crispy-topped casserole is pure comfort food baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper, to taste
2 cups cooked green beans (fresh or canned, drained)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1 cup crispy fried onions
Directions:
Cook Beef: In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess grease. Stir in Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
Mix Sauce: In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and sour cream.
Assemble: In a greased 9×13″ dish, layer beef, green beans, soup mixture, and cheeses. Repeat layers if desired.
Top It Off: Sprinkle crispy fried onions on top.
Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Serve: Let cool slightly, slice neatly, and enjoy warm with that perfect cheesy pull.
