Deep Hamburger Sausage & Pepperoni Pie

 

Ingredients:

 

•I box Pillsbury ready bake pie crust( comes with 2 rolled pie crust)

 

• For the Filling:

 

• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

 

• 1/2 pound ground beef

 

• 1/2 pound Italian sausage (optional)

 

• 1 cup pepperoni slices

 

• 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce or marinara

 

• 1 cup shredded cheddar or provolone cheese

 

• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

 

• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

 

• 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

 

3 tablespoons of melted butter ( to brush on top crust)

 

Instructions:

 

2. Prepare the Filling:

 

• Cook the ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.

 

• Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

 

3. Assemble the Pizza Pie:

 

• Roll out the dough to fit a deep-dish pie pan or a deep skillet.

 

• Layer the bottom with half of the mozzarella cheese.

 

• Add a layer of cooked ground beef, Italian sausage, and pepperoni.

 

• Pour the pizza sauce evenly over the meat and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.

 

• Top with the remaining cheese and another layer of pepperoni slices. Top with remaining crust brush with melted butter and garlic powder.

 

4. Bake the Pizza Pie:

 

• Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

 

• Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
