Crockpot French Onion Meatloaf

Crockpot French Onion Meatloaf

Ingredients:

2 lbs ground beef

1 envelope dry French onion soup mix

1 cup crushed crackers (Ritz or saltines)

2 eggs

½ cup milk

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed French onion soup

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Mix Meatloaf:

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, dry soup mix, crushed crackers, eggs, milk, and shredded cheese. Mix until just combined — don’t overwork it.

2. Form Loaf:

Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into your crockpot.

3. Add Topping:

Pour the condensed French onion soup over the top. Drizzle with Worcestershire sauce.

4. Cook:

Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until internal temp reaches 160°F (71°C).

5. Optional Broil Finish:

For a browned top, carefully transfer the meatloaf to a baking sheet and broil for 3–4 minutes.

6. Serve:

Slice, spoon some of the oniony sauce over top, and garnish with parsley if desired.
