Buttery Garlic Bun – Soft, Fluffy & Made Without an Oven!
No oven? No problem! These garlic buns are irresistibly soft, buttery, and full of flavor — perfect for evening tea or as a snack
Ingredients:
For Dough:
• 110 Ml Warm Milk
• 1 Tsp Sugar
• 1 Tsp Yeast
• 1 Cup Flour
• ½ Tsp Salt
• 2 Tsp Oil
For Garlic Butter Mixture:
• 2–3 Cloves Garlic (Finely Chopped)
• 1 Tbsp Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
• ½ Tsp Chilli Flakes
• ½ Tsp Pepper Powder
• ¼ Tsp Salt
• 2 Tbsp Butter
Instructions:
1. Activate yeast: Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
2. Make dough: Add flour, salt, and oil. Knead into smooth dough, rub with oil, and rest for 30 minutes.
3. Prepare garlic butter: Mix garlic, coriander, chilli flakes, pepper, salt, and butter.
4. Shape buns: Grease a 7-inch mould, line with baking paper. Roll out dough, spread garlic butter, roll up, cut into pieces, and arrange in mould.
5. Rest again: Let rise for 10 minutes.
6. Cook without oven: Preheat a large pan with wire stand for 5–7 minutes. Place mould inside, bake for 15–20 minutes.
7. Brush with extra butter before serving.
